Self-Dispensing. Toothpaste is stored in the handle for safekeeping. The window shows you how much paste is in the chamber. Turn the knob clockwise and paste is dispensed though the rubber nozzle on the bristle head. Tilt down and paste is delivered directly to the bristles.
Easily Refillable. Fill it up when it is empty. OHSO uses suction technology to pull toothpaste into the handle for no mess refilling.
Use Your Favorite Toothpaste. Fill OHSO with any type of toothpaste from most tubes. Colgate toothpaste is "plug compatible" with OHSO. Use the universal adapter if your brand doesn't fit.
No Mess. OHSO will not leak and is easy to refill without making a mess. Except for the small nozzle tip, toothpaste is never exposed to the air. So it should never "gum up" in the chamber. Take off the bristle head, and OHSO is easy to clean with warm tap water.
Replaceable Bristles. Replace the bristle heads when they wear out. Your OHSO should last a good long time by replacing the bristle heads periodically.

Our main observation is that the location of the exit port for toothpaste caused paste to simply fall off the brush before being effectively administered in roughly 25% of trials over a 6 month period.
The exit port for toothpaste was judged to be more effective if located in the center of the bristle array. This would cause the exiting paste to be 'supported' by the surrounding bristles. In the current design, the lack of support around the paste 'spiral' cause it to fall off- especially when the brush is held slightly upwards or ever so slightly to the side.

Special Cap Design. The water tight cap is held on with an o-ring. So water leakage is unlikely when you travel. The vented cap version provides maximum air circulation for bristle drying. The non-vented cap doubles as a rinsing cup and virtually guarantees no seepage.

We first discovered Dr.Bronner's soaps at an REI store in the late 80's. On a lark we bought a 16oz bottle of Peppermint Liquid Soap and were astonished to find it so refreshing, clean and efficient to use. In fact, that 16oz bottle (diluted) lasted nearly eight years! When it finally finished, we replaced it with another 16oz bottle and by then, we could buy sampler sizes and we've tried every scent. They are each different in fragrance but the effectiveness is the same. This is the natural soap to use for personal hygiene as well as general 'natural path' cleaning. For camping, we dilute one tablespoon with 8oz of water and use it in a floral sprayer. It's a great way to reach strategic hygiene targets without wasting water. Diluted further, it's great for repelling aphids from roses or washing fruits and vegetables. In an emergency, 1/2 tsp in 6oz water drank in one go makes a tasty laxative. Ideal as an all in one, soap, shampoo and cleaner.
