General Description
ALOKSAK bags are a brand of the WATCHFUL EYE DESIGNS company. They appear and function in a manner familiar to anyone that's operated a zip-closure bag. What puts ALOKSAKS above the rest of this genre of waterproof storage are the relatively heavy weight plastic used as well as the strong and failsafe zip closure design. The plastic feels about three times thicker than the averag grocery store variety and the closure system is tenacious- never accidentally coming appart or leaking. Testing these bags we submerged them in 6' of water without a single failure. filled with air they become like flotation bouys. Squeezing them under pressure never caused the seals to separate or the bags to pop. We even tested them as boiler bags and though they do deform at 212ºf they still didn't leak.

They are not abrasion resistant against masonry but they are much better at resisting potential surface wear or punctures than ordinary bags. Because they're clear, full visual identification is easy and some electronics may even be controlled through the plastic. After folding, ordinary zipclosure bags often develop leaks in pinholes caused by the folds. ALOKSAKs fold over and over with no risk of wear as a result don't develop pinholes at creases. After some time a well used ALOKSAK develops a grippy feel that seems more like latex than plastic.

Clothing, food, medicines, small tools and accessories, electronics and first aid- all found a happy home in our various ALOKSAKs.We easily operated a popular MP3 Player and a small cellphone through the plastic with no problems at all. ALOKSAKS are also excellent for preserving delicate and important documents, cash and small removable data media. The professional first responder or SAR practitioner may use ALOKSAKS for evidence collection as well as collecting fluid and solid samples. Because ALOKSAKs are Biohazard safe, they can safely transport bilogical materials without fear of contamination or infection.

Accommodation for emergency provisions Excellent
In the context of an overall Go-Bag and Go-Kit strategy, the ALOKSAKs are available in enough sizes and proportions to suit most needs. We liked the assorted sizes since they enabled us to efficiently organize items with the minimum of wasted space or crowding. We filled one ALOKSAK with 1 lb of breakfast cereal and opened it many times after deliberate drenching's to find the contents were always dry.
