Depending on the prevailing conditions impinging on the person in addition to thier age, body weight, Basal Metabolic Rate and other variables, a typical adult needs a minimum daily dose of nutrition and water for normal body functions. Hightened physical or psychological exertion, may increase sustainence requirements.
