time missions. These light sources, will glow maintenance

Ease of Use
Excellent . Requires very little learning
if any. Intuitive functional model. No cognitive overhead.
Turn the bezel in the direction of the 'On' marking
to make the light come on and in the opposite direction
to turn it off. Full unscrewing the bezel removes
it from the body. Removing the LED module from the
body allows for battery replacement. re-assemble by
aligning indexing flange on module with matching notch
in the body, re-screw the bezel on and the light is
ready to use. It may be easily handheld, perched upright
on its tail or hung from the included wrist lanyard
for multiple situations.

Task performance optimization
Excellent . Accomplishes the task of providing
forward directed illumination in a number of circumstances,
especially ones that require a high degree of reliability
and confidence in the flashlight even under emergency
situations. It should excel in all general as well
as occupational uses that would benefit from a shockproof,
lightweight and waterproof light. Its modest illumination
output is more than offset by a very long runtime
as well as efficient use of battery power.

Durability
Long term tests have not been done. First
impression . Replacement frequency will depend on
variables such as frequency of dismantling / re-assembly,
roughness of use, exposure to UV and heat/cold as
well as other unpredictable factors. Based on continuous
everyday use for 8 weeks we have provisionally given
this product a durability rating of:

Pros > Thoughtful ergonomics make it a
perfect fit for a wide variety of hand sizes, genders
and contexts of use. Permanent glow in the dark 'locator'
vials put this light ahead of most emergency flashlights
in that it may well be the only visible object in
a pitch black room- critical in 'findability'. A respectable
beam output coupled with a very long runtime, maximize
efficiency and effectiveness in circumstances where
battery replacements may not be immediately possible
and yet runtime may well be critical to survival or
task completion.
Cons >Re-aligning the LED module
during battery replacement could require focused attention.
